This Year we were off to Camp Omaui. We had a Science focus on rocky shore, forest and estuary studies. For many children it was their first camp and everyone had a ball!
What fun we had on Friday to experiment with the best way to put veges into a cake.
We were dicing, chopping, making puree, making pulp, mashing and grating.
Was great to see how many different ways we could deal to the veges!
When looking at out values, the kids at Dipton School are pretty clued up on what this looks like and what they need to do. Yesterday we spent time working together to create our korowai - a cloak made with care from all the kids. We thought about our values and our feathers reflect our thoughts.
Having a normal cruisey morning here in room one, working away on our individual reading contracts we have had a great start to the term,Time has been flying by so fast.
Our Envirogroup have been busy educating the kids at Dipton at school again. Snatching times outside between shores they also planted mustard seed in the raised gardens, refilled the pine cone bird feeders and cleaned the chook area again. Leading from the front Envirogroup!
