Mind mapping

Mind mapping is a great way to sort our information for sustainability...but to begin with we need to learn about the structure of mind mapping.  We enjoyed showing our ideas about Dipton School in colour, words and pictures.  Our branches start thick and get thinner as our ideas become more specific.

Catchment-

Mark from Environment Southland came to school today to talk about what happens to our water in the water cycle. He had a nifty model to illustrate this. Some of our key words were catchment, water cycle.

We had to pretend we were the rain and look at the effects of what we put down our drains and streams...
