Yeahhaaa for the hard workers!

This lovely bunch of kids are going to enjoy a week off homework because they have their 3 plus's index a row.  I hope we have more photos like this in the coming weeks.

You assault me with your crazy words,

You torture me every day,

You yell at me to go away,

I know you are angry and depressed,

So please stop and give it a rest,

The track racer

I raced around the next corner. I could fell the wind blowing though my hair.  My wheels, by my feet  were spinning like wild fire. The pointy helmet was digging into my  throbbing back. My hands were really sweaty.

Picnic area

One beautiful day I went to a gorgeous picnic area. It was very colourful.The trees were a great orange colour, and the sun had just set.The moss was slushing as I walked across it.The calm wind whispered though the trees and they swayed side to side. I could hear the birds chirping to a lovely beat.

The bees were humming while collecting pollen.

The Magnificent Sunset

The air grew cooler as the sun dissapeared behind the

gigantic mountains. It's reflection mirrored on the 

shimmering lake. The glowing full moon took over the 

whole dark sky. Stars twinkled on and of as if they were

controlled by light switches. I wished I could dive into

the clear water, but I was still in my clothes.

Commenting on our blog

Today we have been looking at ways we can use our blog.  We have added a 'How To' page which will help us with our commenting.  
You can also see we now have a visitor map and a flag map to help us learn more countries in the world and to see where our visitors are from.  
Tonight we are all going to try and add a comment using our new ideas.  We also have an email address to post our holiday experience to the blog.  
We are learning how to post to the blog directly from our ipads.  
On Thursday afternoons we take part in #kidsedchatnz.  We will blog about it this week too!
It is great to be back at school.
